Triple Flag,by Jasper Johns, 1958 Since 2001, I really had a fascination with the artist Jasper Johns (who my kitty is named after) who used a lot of American Flags in his work. Like a Campbell Soup Can, you can simplify it and still recognize it as the American Flag...a theory which I absolutely love and base much of my work on. So here are some of the results of this fascination using a simplified linoleum print.
